I am Jen Noordijk, from Oakville, ON Canada. I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years, and have experimented with a variety of different teachers and styles and teachers, including Bikram, Moksha, Yin and Restorative. Early on, I was introduced to hot yoga and was hooked. One day a friend invited me to a class at Power Yoga Canada and I knew immediately that I had found my tribe. I started taking workshops, weekend intensives and even travelled to Kenya with the Africa Yoga Project, an organization that educates, empowers, elevates and expands employability with youth in Africa using the transformational practice of yoga.
In 2016 I completed my 200 hour teacher training and I am now on way to completing my 500 hour training and certification through the Baptiste Institute.
My love for yoga is something I carry with me in every moment of every day. I thrive to live my yoga, to be happy, to be healthy, to be Yoga. This is what I share with my students and through the physical practice, meditation and inquiry, we create miracles and transformation. With a mindful approach to yoga and a focus on restoring the body to balance and True North Alignment, I specialize in helping people to reclaim their health vitality and their life.

I am dedicated to sharing the transformational benefits that are possible through yoga, meditation and the work of self inquiry. I am a Baptiste trained teacher and I have been influenced and trained by a number of different teachers and styles of yoga.
My mission is evolution and transformation through practicing and living the teachings of yoga - to inspire my students to cultivate balance, ease, health, wellness and a deep sense of love for themselves, others and the planet. Through the practice of yoga, meditation and inquiry, I help others to realize their truth and what is possible and available for them.

Love – for oneself and for others
Her ability to give space for students – rather than fill the silence with chatter – allows the students to focus on their individual intentions during practice.

There are no other words for Jen other than ‘inspired’. When teaching, Jen is able to connect to me as an individual despite addressing the entire room. She is fully present to what is occurring for her students. Jen is able to check in with the yogis, and help them adjust their practice to enhance their individual experience of yoga. As a result, she has a her remarkable ability to personalize her classes and interpret what her practitioners need during the vinyasa. Despite having received her certification just over a year ago, Jen brings an air of experience and confidence to the class. Her ability to give space for students – rather than fill the silence with chatter – allows the students to focus on their individual intentions during practice. Undoubtedly her desire to continuously grow in her yoga studies has been of benefit, both for her, and us as students. Jen’s teaching leaves me feeling empowered and strong. Her powerful and clear voice while teaching makes me want to try new poses, go deeper into a pose, and experience my body in a pose in a different way. She is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about her students. When I connect with Jen, she is open and present to our conversation. Both in class, and out of class, I feel heard and understood. Without a doubt, Jen has a natural ability to lead and captivate her audience. Her classes are unquestionably both challenging and fun – and it is an absolute blast being able to experience her and her practice. Thank you so much for continuously providing me with an amazing yoga practice, you are so special.
Strangest place I have ever practiced yoga? On a delayed flight back from Costa Rica!
Michael came to me with acute back pain, tight shoulders resulting in headaches and difficulty sleeping and concentrating. Initially we worked one on one as he became more comfortable with yoga and started to relax his body and open his mind to possibility. 6 months later, Michael is a self proclaimed yogi, with a strong self practice that includes not just yoga but meditation as well. He reports that his stress has decreased, he is better able to cope with everyday challenges, and he can touch his toes!
